Off to the Races

Well, I've begun my whirlwind of travel that will ring in the new year and keep me hopping until next August. Almost to the Canadian border, I'm with my family for the night in Port Huron, MI. We're headed to Toronto for my cousin, Nahla's, wedding and to celebrate the new year and see family and friends.
When we return, I'll have a day to unpack, take a breath and then repack and head to ATL to meet up with Kate and Caroline and catch a flight to Madrid. From there we plan to travel to Venice and head to Rome over nine days before returning to Madrid for orientation for out semester in Spain.
Instead of sending mass emails to people who I know are too busy to read every word whenever I get to send something, I was convinced to create a blog so that you can check in on your own time, AND so that I can easily share pictures of my adventures. I hope you won't hesitate to check in yourself. I'll be checking my emails daily and missing many people, so I'd love to hear from you.
